Sell gift cards and products alongside your bookings

Customers buy a gift card on your site, choosing one of the amounts you set or, if you allow it, typing their own. It arrives by email with its code and an optional message, and the buyer can send it straight to the person it is for or keep it to hand over themselves.

The code goes in at the payment step of a booking. The card is spent first and counts towards any deposit, and when it covers everything due, no card payment is taken at all. If the booking is later cancelled, the money goes back onto the card.

Online gift cards come with every GCDS website package, for businesses that run their bookings centrally from one owner account. In Bookky that is admin-managed mode.

They are switched off in self-managed mode, where each renter takes their own payments. A card sold by the business could be spent with a renter who is paid separately, and the money would sit in the wrong account.

The Blaze package adds an online shop for up to 20 products, with photos, prices and optional stock counts. Customers choose collection or delivery, whichever you offer, and delivery can be free from an order value you set.

Orders land in the same dashboard as your bookings. Mark one ready to collect, or sent with a tracking link, and the customer is emailed at each step. Stock is held while a customer pays, so the last one cannot be sold twice.
