For massage and bodywork
Booking for therapists working session by session
Most massage practices are one or two people with no receptionist. The booking system has to work while you are with a client, which means it has to be right without supervision.
Sessions, not appointments
A therapy business sells time in blocks. Thirty, forty-five, sixty, ninety and one hundred and twenty minutes are five different products with five different prices, and clients decide between them at the moment of booking. Bookky treats those as variants of a single service, so the customer picks the treatment first and the length second, and only sees start times where the full session fits.
The room also needs turning around. A per-service buffer keeps the gap after each session without you having to pad the durations and lose the honest price on your website.
For solo and small practices
Five durations, one service
Set the price and deposit for each length once. Availability is checked against the exact one chosen.
Room turnaround
Buffer time after every session, set per treatment, so linen changes and notes never eat into the next client.
It reaches your phone
Subscribe once to your private calendar feed and every confirmed session appears in the calendar you already use.
Block out a week
Add a holiday or a training day as an exception and those dates close immediately, without touching your normal weekly hours.
Language that fits your practice
Nothing in the customer flow is hard-coded to one trade. If you call them sessions rather than appointments, and yourself a therapist rather than a member of staff, the whole booking flow says so. Every visible label is a setting.

Common questions
Can one service have different lengths and prices?
Yes. Every service can carry variants, each with its own duration, price and deposit. The customer picks the service first, then the length, and availability is calculated against that exact duration.
Can I add clean-down time between appointments?
Yes. Each service carries its own buffer, applied after the appointment ends. A service needing fifteen minutes of turnaround will not let the next customer book into that window, while a quick service can run back to back.
Does it say 'barber' if I am not a barbershop?
No. Every label is configurable per business. Staff can read as therapists, instructors, stylists or technicians, appointments can read as sessions, treatments or lessons, and the whole customer flow follows suit.
Does it sync with my calendar?
Every staff member gets a private iCal feed URL. Subscribe to it once in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook and confirmed bookings appear automatically and stay up to date. There is nothing to re-import.
How do I handle holidays and sick days?
Set regular weekly hours once, then add one-off exceptions on top. Exceptions work in both directions: block a day for holiday, illness or training, or open an extra shift beyond the normal schedule. The available slots update immediately.
Where is my data stored?
Customer and booking data is held in a UK and EU hosted Postgres database with row-level security, so one business can never read another's records. Card details never touch Bookky's servers; payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
