Clinic booking that respects the consultation

Clinic appointments carry more process than a salon booking. There is a consultation before the treatment, a patch test before some of them, and a practitioner whose diary is not interchangeable with anyone else's.

Consultation first, treatment second

Set the consultation up as its own short service, priced at zero or at a redeemable fee, and keep the treatments themselves on a separate list. Clients book the consultation online at any time, and the treatment that follows is added from the dashboard once you have seen them. That keeps clinical judgement where it belongs and off the booking form.

For treatments you are happy to sell directly, a deposit at booking filters out the enquiries that were never going to attend, and the balance is settled at the clinic.

Clinic-shaped controls

Practitioner-specific diaries

Each practitioner has their own hours, services and availability. Clients booking a treatment only ever see people qualified to give it.

Service categories

Group treatments so the booking flow stays readable when the list runs long, and so each practitioner shows only the categories they cover.

Deposit or full payment

Choose per business whether the client pays in full, pays a deposit, or pays nothing online. Money goes to your own Stripe account.

Separated data

Records sit behind row-level security in a UK and EU hosted database. Card details never reach Bookky's servers.

Common questions

Can I take a deposit instead of full payment?

Yes. Each business chooses one of three modes: full payment online, a deposit online with the balance paid in person, or no online payment at all. Deposits can be a fixed amount or a percentage, and can be set per service.

Can each staff member have their own login?

Yes, and it is a per-business choice. In admin-managed mode one owner account controls everything and staff are resources with no logins. In self-managed mode each person signs in, sets their own hours, sees their own calendar and connects their own Stripe account. That second mode suits chair and room renters.

Where is my data stored?

Customer and booking data is held in a UK and EU hosted Postgres database with row-level security, so one business can never read another's records. Card details never touch Bookky's servers; payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

Can I still take bookings over the phone?

Yes. Staff create phone, walk-in and admin bookings from the dashboard using the same availability engine, so a phone booking blocks the slot online instantly. Nothing gets double-booked.

Does it say 'barber' if I am not a barbershop?

No. Every label is configurable per business. Staff can read as therapists, instructors, stylists or technicians, appointments can read as sessions, treatments or lessons, and the whole customer flow follows suit.

How long does setup take?

A single setup call, usually the same week. GCDS configures your services, staff, opening hours and payment mode with you, and the booking flow is already part of your site build. You are not left with a blank dashboard to fill in.
