Salon booking that understands a four hour colour

Most booking tools assume every appointment is the same length. Salons do not work that way, and a diary that cannot tell a dry cut from a full head of highlights will happily double-book both.

Length and price are not one number

The same treatment takes a different amount of chair time depending on hair length, and charging one price for all of it costs you either margin or goodwill. Bookky lets every service carry variants, each with its own duration, price and deposit, so short, medium and long become three real options rather than a note in the booking comments.

Availability is then calculated against the exact duration the customer chose. Someone booking a long-hair colour is only offered start times with enough room to finish, which is the whole point.

Built for salon diaries

Per-length variants

One service, several lengths and prices. The customer picks the service, then the option that fits.

Stylist preference

Customers request a specific stylist or take the first available. Regulars keep their person, new clients fill the gaps.

Turnaround built in

Each service carries its own buffer, so a colour gets its clean-down time and a fringe trim does not waste twenty minutes.

A calendar that follows you

Every stylist gets a private feed they subscribe to once. Bookings appear in their own phone calendar and stay current.

It lives on your website, not someone else's

Directory platforms put your salon on a page next to your competitors and take a cut of every booking. Bookky is the opposite arrangement. The booking flow sits on your own domain, uses your own brand colour, and sends payments straight to your own Stripe account with no platform fee taken in between.

Common questions

Can one service have different lengths and prices?

Yes. Every service can carry variants, each with its own duration, price and deposit. The customer picks the service first, then the length, and availability is calculated against that exact duration.

Can I add clean-down time between appointments?

Yes. Each service carries its own buffer, applied after the appointment ends. A service needing fifteen minutes of turnaround will not let the next customer book into that window, while a quick service can run back to back.

Can I add Bookky to a website I already have?

No. Bookky is not sold as a plugin or a standalone subscription. It comes as part of a Green Candle Digital Studio website package, built into the site GCDS makes for you and configured with your services and staff before it goes live. If you already have a site, talk to GCDS about what replacing it would involve.

Does Bookky take commission on bookings?

No. Bookky charges no platform fee and no per-booking commission. Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account, and Stripe's standard processing fee is the only deduction.

Can I take a deposit instead of full payment?

Yes. Each business chooses one of three modes: full payment online, a deposit online with the balance paid in person, or no online payment at all. Deposits can be a fixed amount or a percentage, and can be set per service.

Does it sync with my calendar?

Every staff member gets a private iCal feed URL. Subscribe to it once in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook and confirmed bookings appear automatically and stay up to date. There is nothing to re-import.
